Prevention of industrial noise is very important.
Measures to prevent hearing loss are engineering control measures, management measures and individual protection measures.
Engineering control measures: First of all, we should consider improving the process of noise generation, equipment and materials, starting from the treatment of noise sources, as far as possible to fundamentally reduce the generation of noise. In addition, such as sound insulation (to add a cover to the noise equipment), vibration isolation (under the noise generating equipment with spring dampers, rubber, cork, asphalt felt, glass fiber felt, etc.), sound absorption (in the gold session board coated - layer of damping materials, such as asphalt, soft rubber or other polymer coatings) control measures, can also play a noise reduction effect.
Management measures: Management measures are very important measures, as long as the existence of noise hazards, management measures are necessary, management content includes:
(1) Routine monitoring and recording of noise exposure;
(2) Record management of workers' hearing tests;
(3) Evaluation of engineering control measures;
(4) Management and maintenance of noise reduction equipment;
(5) the establishment of ear protection selection, use and maintenance procedures, and supervision and inspection;
(6) Management of noise-polluted areas, including the posting of warning signs, requiring all persons entering the area to wear ear protection; or limiting and reducing the number of persons entering and the length of stay;
(7) Review of the implementation of the hearing protection program;
(8) Reasonable arrangement of labor and rest to shorten the exposure time.
Individual protective measures:
If the noise intensity in the workplace cannot be effectively controlled temporarily, wearing personal protective equipment is an - effective measure to protect workers' hearing organs. Various designs of ear protectors (also called hearing protectors) can be used by different workers, and if they are properly selected, used and maintained, they can achieve good noise reduction effects.
Which positions are considered noisy workplaces.
Health management requires enterprises to develop their own hearing protection plan for workers, and designated specially trained personnel responsible for the organization and implementation;
Enterprises should workplace noise monitoring, to determine the noise exposure greater than or equal to 85d B (A) of the population, and will monitor the results to inform the relevant labor enterprises should be exposed to noise operations with adequate noise attenuation capacity, wearing comfortable ear protection; regular hearing protection training, inspection of engineering control measures and the use of ear protection to ensure that the hearing protection effect.
How to see the workplace noise limits.
The national health standards for workplace noise are set. If the workplace noise is lower than the national standards, for most workers who work 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week, the possibility of occupational hearing damage is small; if the workplace noise is higher than the national standards, the employer should take comprehensive measures to reduce the workplace noise intensity, and according to the national standards [Guidelines for the selection of hearing protectors (GB/ T23466 -2009)] for workers with ear plugs, earmuffs.
The workers can know whether the noise meets the requirements of the national standard through the notice board of the noise monitoring results in the workplace.
Health protection to be followed in noise work
Workers engaged in noise work should learn, master and comply with the operating procedures of their jobs, and understand the noise hazards in the workplace and the possible health damage;
Regularly inspect sound insulation, sound absorption, vibration damping facilities or materials to ensure that they are in good condition, and if abnormalities occur, report them in a timely manner and carry out maintenance;
Adhere to and correctly wear personal protective equipment as required; participate in the occupational health examination arranged by the employer.
